6th Class Girls Vs Stillorgan 29th November 2015
Pembroke 6th Red Team had a tight game against a spirited Stillorgan side on Sunday. Despite the cold and gale-force winds the girls kept pushing for goals all the way to the end.
There was good team spirit and good communication throughout the game with Pembroke getting the majority of shots on goal. Neither team had goalkeepers so there was some good scramble defences from both sides to keep the ball out of the goal. Though Pembroke got caught out on a couple of their own hit outs. Stillorgan relied on a couple of better players while Pembroke moved the ball nicely through midfield or spread it wide when needed and used a few long balls with good effect.
Altogether a good performance and a great team spirit.
