The match started out well with Pembroke dominating the early exchanges that led to a goal scored by Ali after 10 minutes.  Genesis picked up their game and managing to level the score before half time.

At half time the coaches encouraged us to step up the intensity and Pembroke started the second half as they did the first, by dominating the play.  A short corner led to Pembroke re-establishing their lead.  Pembroke kept up the intensity of their play and continued to have the majority of the possession. Goals swiftly followed with Hope getting two and Laura, Pia and Katie also getting on the scoresheet for a well-deserved 7-1 team victory for Pembroke.
