Barbara Kearney appointed as Club Junior Manager

junior section

Our Junior Manager of the last few seasons, Ian Wolfe, has unfortunately had to resign due to work and time pressures. He will however remain involved in the Junior Section as a coach and as the “Designated Person” in line with the Code of Ethics requirements. Many thanks to Ian for the superb job he did in running the section, and for all his time, effort and organisational skills in developing it so far.

On a more positive note, we are delighted to advise you that we have been able to appoint a replacement for Ian without delay.

Our new Junior Manager is Barbara Kearney, who as a long standing member of Pembroke, brings a wealth of experience on the playing, administrative and coaching fronts to the job and thus allows us to forge ahead into the coming season with the minimum of fuss.

Barbara will be more than ably supported by Sinead Guilfoyle, who remains on as Assistant Manager and Children’s Officer.

With Barbara and Sinead at the helm, we will continue to progress the development of our young players for the future.
