Bernie Barry elected Club Vice President

The Executive Committee are delighted to announce that Bernie Barry has been co-opted onto the Committee as Vice President. Bernie, a well known member to all in Pembroke, joined the Club in 1997 and has always had committed involvement in both playing and administrative capacities.
She was Lady Captain of the ladies section from 2003 – 2005 and honoured as Club Member of the Year in 2008/09. As a confident ball playing sweeper (deadly at short corners), her skills and dedication led to her first Irish Masters appearance in 2010.
Bernie will be taking over as Club President from West Thornton when his term expires at the May 2013 AGM.
The Club expresses their thanks and wishes Bernie the very best in her new role.
