February 1st – Festival of Hockey

Big day in the hockey calendar on February 1st! The EYHL resumes and our mens and ladies 1XI are both in action in crucial must-win ties.

Join us for a unique PWHC Festival of Hockey as we mark the end of the senior hockey winter break, launch our Pembroke Wanderers 2022 plans, and enjoy the traditional mid-season cocktail night, brought to you by the senior ladies squad!

All we ask is that you come along, BE SEEN and MAKE SOME NOISE! To help we are providing bang sticks, flags, and baseball caps for everyone.

Festival Schedule:

12:45pm – join us on a free bus from PWHC to Alexandra College to watch our ladies 1XI play Old Alex in the EYHL at 13:30

15:00 – bus back with us to Serpentine Avenue for a catered Pembroke Wanderers lunch for all (Parents, children, players, club members and guests – burgers, chili, and ice-cream!)

16:00 – Tension rises as our Men’s 1XI line out against Annadale HC in the EYHL

18:45 – Tune your ears for a presentation from the club’s Executive team regarding our plans for the PWHC Centenary Year (2022).

20:00 – Jackets off! Enjoy the annual cocktail night, brought to you by the ladies 1XI with expert mixology, funny-coloured drinks, and DJ ’til late (strictly over 18s only).
