Justin to the rescue as lads take 3 points against Students

Mens Division 1, 17th Jan 2010
Pembroke 4 (Alan Sothern 3, Justin Sherriff)
UCD 3 (Ronan Flannery 2, Gavin O’Halloran)
A last minute goal from Justin Sherriff saved the day for the lads in a fantastic game at Serpentine yesterday. Alan Sothern looked to have secured the points in the welcome sunshine with a hatrick, but UCD recovered in the second half to level it, from 3-1 down.
Former Pembroke player Ronan Flannery equalising from two corners to make it a frenetic final few minutes. The final play broke to Justin who smashed home to take the points for the home side.
Sunday’s win puts Pembroke one point behind leaders Corinthians, but the lads have a game in hand.
