Irish Hockey League. Late goals from Aoife Sherriff and Shona Doyle secure an excellent away draw to Ballymoney in this Pool A game. Pembroke had earlier fallen behind to goals from Diane McNeill and Laura Mullan but Pembroke’s corners proved to be telling with clinical finishing from Sherriff and Doyle to save the day.

Rotterdam’s earlier 6-0 win over Scottish outfit Kelburne on Saturday meant, in the wake of Pembroke’s 4-2 win over the same opposition, the sole relevance of the final group game was to decide who qualified in top position.
The game saw former former Irish captain Henderson emerge from retirement as David Harte was unable to play due to exams, but Dutch skill and speed of play told in the end.
