Pembroke honours Paddy Deering
Congratulations to Paddy Deering who received Life Membership of Pembroke Wanderers Hockey Club – the award was presented (belatedly) by President West Thornton at the weekend.
Paddy has served Pembroke for many many years and as a popular club man and hard working member he is highly deserving of this accolade.
Currently Paddy is serving with the IHA on the competitions committee and he of course remains an active member around the club – Guinness remains his favoured tipple if you are buying!
A former goalkeeper, he also had stints off the pitch as Club Captain and more recently as Club President.
Congratulations on your award Paddy and Many Thanks for all your years of support and dedication from everyone at Pembroke.
