Pembroke Ladies set for European adventure this May!

Great news for the Club and the Ladies 1sts squad with the news that Pembroke Wanderers are to replace Railway Union in the EuroHockey Club Champions Trophy, taking place in Minsk, Belarus at the end of May. Railway have withdrawn from the competition, allowing us (as Irish Senior Cup runners up) to replace them.

Pembroke back in Europe!

Pembroke Wanderers have a great European tradition on the Mens’ side, while it will be only the second time our Ladies have represented on the European stage – the European Cup Winners Cup in Ghent 2008 a memorable trip for players and supporters alike.

Weather in Belarus will be alot more pleasant, with average temperatures in the low 20’s come the the end of May. Perfect conditions for supporters. The question now though is, how do we get to Minsk?
