PWHC Under 12 Monkstown Tournament

Lads, well done yesterday. Our start was a bit chaotic as we were short a couple of players and had to borrow players from Monkstown. This was reflected in the first game against a strong Monkstown side and we lost 4 – 0. We had some chances in this game but we can’t complain about the result. Our second and third games were much better.

We played with better structure and commitment and that showed in the results with a big win over the second Monkstown side and a narrow 2 – 1 win over a handy YM side. Some of our attacking moves were excellent with good passes being put together followed by some clinical finishing.

We defended well most of the time but must remember to mark the players in our circle when we don’t have possession. Well done to all and see you on Friday. Regards, Simon & Devin.
