The Leinster U21 team took the ESB Interpovincial title at Grange Rd yesterday with a comprehensive 3-0 win over their Ulster compatriots. Leinster won all three of their games over the weekend, Pembroke’s Noell Farrell getting on the scoresheet in the Munster game, a far closer encounter which Leinster pipped 3-2.

In addition to Noelle, Pembroke also had Orla Fox, Hayley O’ Donnell and Alice Ward on the panel, with Genevieve Fay our 5ths captain taking on physio role for the weekend. Rachel Scott, currently playing with Trinity was also part of the winning squad. Well done girls!

In the senior competition Leinster came second to Ulster on goal difference, Uster’s 2-0 over Munster proving to be decisive in a very close tournament.
