Join our Family Fun Day!
To celebrate the end of our hockey season, all members, Juniors and Seniors, are invited to our Family Fun Day on Sunday 28 April, 10am-12:30pm!
On the day, there’ll be:
Hockey Fun – Join us on the pitch for some fun games – for both Juniors Players and Parents! Games include slip ‘n’ slide, beat the goalie, obstacle races and pick up games. Gum shields and shinpads are mandatory as usual – and a change of clothes for kids would be advised (#watercannonsmaybeinvolved)
Parents, this is a great opportunity for you to grab yourself a gum shield as you don’t want to miss out on this fun…!
Food & fun – We’ll have a BBQ, an ice cream van, face painting and balloon animal making on site for you to enjoy.
Awards ceremony – We’ll be having a small awards ceremony to celebrate our season and all those players, parents and coaches who lived our Club Values.
Raffle – We’re collecting some brilliant prizes for a raffle on the day to help raise funds for Juniors. Prizes include private sessions with some of our leading coaches, a €250 hockey stick, trips to Emerald Park…. scroll down below to see what you can win on the day!
Pembroke ‘Bake Off Competition – As baking as been a big feature of this season, we are hosting an official ‘Bake Off’ competition! Scroll down to see the categories and how you can enter!

- Juniors Players (Junior Infants to 3rd Year): Decorate a cup cake to the max! (There can be ‘help’ making the cake part, but the decorating is only to be done by players!)
- Gaisce team (Transition Year): So many of you did baking for your time with us, show us your best showstopper slices of cake like you would for our Cafe!
- Parents (age is just a number…): Submit something that you would sell at our Sunday Cafe. However, feel free to make it all a bit ‘extra’ if you want….
As ever, please make everything without nuts which includes almonds and peanut butter recipes. Bring your submissions to the Clubhouse by 10am on Sunday 28 April – judging to commence at 10:30am, with prizes to be won!
