Corinthians throw title race wide open

Men’s Leinster Division One:
Pembroke 1 (Justin Sherriff) Corinthian 2 (Andrew Cronje, Brian Doherty)

Corinthians threw the Legue title race wide open with a narrow 1-2 win over the lads at Serpentine yesterday. Their win puts them into pole position, one point ahead of Pembroke with 3 games to play.

The lads had taken the lead through Justin in the first half but some fine goalkeeping and goals from Cronje and Brian Doherty gave the visitors the 3 points.
