All eyes will be on Rotterdam this weekend for the last 16 of the EHL – the European Hockey League. Pembroke are Ireland’s sole representatives, indeed they are the first Irish side to get this far in the competition.

The Lads face Rot-Weiss Koln of Germany on Good Friday, 5pm local time. The Germans contain 8 of the international side who won Olympic gold in Beijing two years ago. If they come through this mammoth challenge they will face either RC Polo Barcelona or Reading HC on Easter Sunday @12 midday.

The tournament finals are being staged again in HC Rotterdam and it will be a fantastic weekend of action.
