Irish Senior Cup action in 'Garvey, plus news round-up

net

The lads travel north to Comber Road where they will meet Lisnagarvey for the 2nd time in a week following last weekend’s 3-3 IHL Pool B concluding game. With Pembroke missing a host of names due to injury it was an eye-catching result but the stakes will be higher this weekend with the Irish Senior Cup the last remaining competition left for the lads – their interest in the IHL ended some weeks ago. Mick O’Connor may return following a hip injury while Alan Sothern remains a doubt despite training this week. The ISC Qtr Final tie tips off at 2.30pm.

The Mens’ 2nds abandoned Division 3 playoff match against Glenanne will now take place on Wednesday May 2nd, in UCD (tbc). The Mens 6ths face Clontarf (in Clontarf) in their divisional playoff on the same night. Times tbc next week.

The Ladies Dinner takes place THIS Saturday night, April 28th – 7.30pm. Don’t be late! If you haven’t given your name to your captain contact Ava ASAP.

The Mens Dinner will take place on Saturday May 12th.

Car park open for the Heineken Cup Semi Final
We will be running a car park on Saturday evening and the cost will be €10 per car (no buses). If you are here two hours before start time there should be no problem with spaces.

If you arrive before our team is in place please give your vehicle registration number together with the money to the person behind the Bar upstairs in the Clubhouse. We do not have a pre-booking facility.

We are six minutes distance from the stadium using the path along the Dart Line.

The Bar will be open and we have a big screen showing the Biarritz v Brive match. Food can be purchased across the road in Patricks Café and brought back to the Bar. Map and Sat-Nav co-ordinates can be found here »
