Pembroke 4 called up to Ireland U16 panel

IMG_3485c
Pembroke Wanderers wishes a well-earned congratulations to the 4 U16 girls who have been selected for the 2022 Ireland U16 panel. A lot of hard work from Milla Fulton, Aoife O’Meara, Sophie English, and Maebh McLoughlin as they battled through selection rounds from Leinster & Connaught U16, through Ireland camps, and into the final reckoning. Good luck to the girls as they embark on a series of international fixtures in the months ahead. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on their progress.
Congratulations also to our Leinster U16 crew who contributed so handsomely to an Interpro win for the province recently.  Chloe Miller, Ruby Mullen, and Natasha Armah-Kwantreng joining the girls above to bring pride to the club in the blue of Leinster, with Maebh flying the flag for Connaught Hockey – travelling all the way from Sligo every Sunday all season (!!) to train with the Pembroke Wanderers elite girls academy.
Lastly, our thanks to Pembroke coaches Matthew Treacy and John Pearson who have cultivated a high performance program to deliver our girls to the top of Irish youth hockey.
