PWHC 1st Year Yellow Vs Muckross (Final)

The final of the first year girls Extreme 8’s was held in Loreto Foxrock at 11am on Sunday 10th of April 2016.

The match got off to a great start with an opening goal for Pembroke within the first few minutes. Unfortunately this was matched by an unlucky goal moments later by Muckross. Pembroke fought back with two touch passes and high intensity from the attackers resulting in another goal before the half time whistle.

In the second half Pembroke continued to put together a strong defense and some great teamwork – strong clean passes amongst the attackers achieving another 2 goals.

Muckross had a few good shots that were deflected by excellent saves by our goalie, Grace, and a strong defense leaving Pembroke with a confident 4-1 win.

A great team effort and a great result. Well done Pembroke!
